DVML #147 is all about Faith, Hope, and Charity. We held many fundraiser to support the communities.
DVML held 4th of July steak Sale. Proceeds donated Margraten Memorial event
donated to the Geilenkirchen Breast cancer Awareness day 5K
donated to Geilenkirchen Annual Awards Banquet
donated for DoD elementary school supplies
donated to SHAPE/Chievres (Belgium) High School Girls’ Basketball team
donated to local churches on Geilenkirchen, Brunssum, and Schinnen
donated to Geilenkirchen Booster club
donated and assisted with the local Belgian Orphange to provide Christmas party and gifts
Public Events
DVML Participated in tree lighting Ceremony, decorating Christmas tree and handed out refreshments to patrons at the Geilenkirchen Airman and Family Readiness Center
DVML participated as Spelling Be judges: The Spelling Bee at the Geilenkirchen Elementary School is an extra-curricular activity intended for 4th-6th grade participants.
DVML Organized volunteers to participate in Hans Christian Anderson Book Reading for GK elementary fostering reading to the Kindergarten – 3rd graders.
DVML participated in the 68th annual observance of the U.S. Memorial Day at the Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial in Margraten.
DVML was the only Masonic Lodge to present one of the wreaths to fallen soldiers.
DVML Chaperoned children while attending German Amusement Park.
DVML Volunteered at USO registering kids for the Safety & Health Fair. Our efforts helped educate the Tri-border patrons on Safety and health.
Participated in Trunk or Treat, an annual event held at USAG Schinnen during Halloween. This event provided children of the tri-border community a safe environment to trick-or-treat.
